Iñigo finds a new purpose for his life after his long quest is over, and Westley shows his gratitude to Iñigo by handing over his reign and giving him hope.

Movie Stream Caballero negroni. RIP Peter Falk. One of my all time favorite movies <3 Got a little teary watching this, lol. Miracle Max: The modern Merlin. Way too much hype for a half-decent movie. I had heard rave reviews of this movie from friends and critics, and I was less than impressed when I finally saw it. I was biased by my high expectations, but this movie is certainly no better than a b-minus. I"m surprised they didn"t mention my namesake, the Impressive Clergyman, who died in 1995. One of my favorite movies. I really love how they all seemed genuinely happy to be in each other"s company. Also loved how they all turned toward the person who was speaking and gave them their full attention. So respectful.
As I"m writing this, The Princess Bride is ranked 194 in the IMDb Top 250 list with an average rating of 8.1. Considering the rating and the fact that I love fantasy, I had high expectations. Long story short - I was very disappointed.
It"s not that The Princess Bride is bad. It has its moments and a unique kind of humor. But the overall impression is lackluster at best. The plot is thin, the acting is sub-par, the main characters nothing but clichés and the special effects are barely worth a laugh. Just look at those guys it rat costumes. Is that supposed to be frightening or hilarious?
To mention a few good points, the minor characters of Inigo Montoya and Fezzik are very good. Also the cuts between the plot and the frame narrative about a grandfather and his grandson are pleasantly surprising. On the other hand, the frame narrative itself is unnecessary and only exists to provide the beginning and the ending that the plot is missing.
Why do one third of the viewers rate this 10? According to my wife, she loved the movie as a kid, but was disappointed too when she saw it recently. I guess it just did not mature well.
10/09/2019 (sniff) I am a 67 y o guy, who saw this with the sweetie of the time. still a hopeless romantic. @Samiesmiles9 I love that I know who you mean. And yes, just a little bit. Andre was actually a pretty good actor. Infinitely better than Hulk Hogan. This movie was and still is awesome. There is no reason for a remake. The quality is quite good because it is not re-encoded. Andre should have made a lot of these films. Movie Stream Caballero. I had a bit of a hard time getting my friends to watch this movie. What self respecting dude would watch a movie called "The Princess Bride" with his buddies? Well let me tell you I have yet to meet someone who has seen this movie and didn"t love it. A great comedy with so much fun, laughter, action, and touching in just the right spots. The power of "true love" may be the driving force for the characters in the movie, and probably what some women viewers would focus on (hint to guys, rent this with your girl and you"ll get points for the romance and it"ll actually be a movie you"ll enjoy. What can I say chicks dig the whole fairy tale aspect, and you"ll like everything else. The comedy, characters, and even some action are what make this a movie for everyone. This is a fantasy and comedy period. But who says a comedy can"t touch your heart in just the right amount. a swordsman spending his life avenging his fathers murder, a grandfather (played perfectly by Peter Faulk) comforting his sick grandchild,and of course the power of "true love. Long live the dread pirate Roberts.
